Jump Aboard: Middle Schoolers Tour College, Career & Technical Education Programs on EUHSD Campuses
“Jump Aboard 2015” brought over 1800 current
eighth-grade students on 45 buses to the campuses of Escondido, Orange Glen
and San Pasqual High Schools on January 27th and 28th.
Led by ASB members and other student volunteers, the potential EUHSD students
visited culinary arts, wood shop, robotics, agriculture, auto, journalism,
dance, drama, music, along with many other programs on each site. In addition,
students learned firsthand about AVID, the after school programs, support
services and unique opportunities in which they can participate.
